Hello and thank you for wanting to learn a bit more about me!

My name is Kodak. I am a 2Spirit/queer Native American and Mexican photographer born and raised in Santa Rosa, California. QT with a Camera was a handle born about 10 years ago when I decided to pursue and cultivate my creative passion within my community while attending UC Berkeley.

I found such joy being able to surround myself with amazing individuals who, unfortunately, felt hesitant having photos taken of themselves. Specifically within the LGBTQ community, there were not many photographers who wanted to celebrate the variety of expressions prevalent in the queer space. Seeing a person's face light up once they saw their photos that I had taken was almost magical. Thus, I decided to play with the acronym of QT in QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and began my journey in photography.

My passion is to ensure that you are receiving something you feel proud about. You have a story to tell, and I want to help you share the beauty you have within yourself. I specialize in Portraits and candid lifestyle shoots; but if you have a specific vision in mind, I want to collaborate to artistically bring it to fruition.
